How do I change the leader of a team?

This article explains how to transition the leadership of a team following hierarchical changes or when someone takes on the role of a new leader.

A Team can only have one leader at a time. If a leader is going on leave, or if someone is stepping into support, please follow the instructions to 'How do I add someone as a coach of my team?'

From the main menu on the left, click "Teams".
Click the drop-down arrow next to the team name that has a new leader.

This will reveal additional details about the team, as illustrated below.

Click the pencil icon located next to the "Leader" label.
Choose the new leader from the list that appears in the dropdown menu.
Click the icon besides the "X" icon and the new leader will be updated.
