This article provides administrators with an overview of how to update a team members skill set.
What is a Skillset?
Skillsets are an important part of the YakTrak platform. They ensure that the right set of skills appear in area of focus for goals and coaching so the team member is being coached to the relevant skills. Organisations can then determine what is the most common skill being coached on as well as measuring speed to competence.
Leaders have the ability to update their own team member's Skillsets as long as they are in their team. Administrators can undertake this activity for anyone within your organisation.
How to update a Skillset
Team members skill sets can be updated via the 'Members' section on the main menu.
- From the main menu, select 'Members'. You will be presented with all the team members you have access to updating.
- Click the name of the team member you wish to update.
- Next to the 'Skillset' section, select the pencil (edit) icon.
- You will be presented with a drop down outlining the skillsets you have to select from.
- Select the Skillset relevant to the team member.
- Select the 'Save' icon to the right of the skill.
- The Skillset will now be available to coach to within goals and where relevant for your organisation.
