This article shows you can edit, add notes, add attachment and mark your goals as complete.
To maintain the focus on your goal and/or to keep your leader up to date with your goal progress, you may want to add additional information to the goal.
This article will take you through how to add notes to your goal, add attachments to your goal, and finally mark your goal as complete.
As a member, you are unable to edit the goal text, the due by date or the status (once overdue) after it has been created. If you need to adjust the due by date or the status, please let your leader know.
How do I add notes to my goals?
- On your 'Me' dashboard, navigate to the 'Goals' widget on the right.
- Click 'Edit Goal' on the goal.
- Add your notes to the 'Add Note' box. Click 'Save' to update changes.
All notes added will be time and date stamped.
How do I add attachments to my goal?
You may want to attach a file to your goal to help keep track of your goal or provide your leader with some evidence of how you are progressing on your goal.
- Click on 'Edit Goal'.
- Click on 'Add Attachment'.
- Upload the document and click 'Save'.
How do I mark my goal as 'Complete'?
Once you are satisfied you have completed your goal, you will need to let your leader know.
- Click 'Mark Complete' button besides the 'Edit goal' button.
You can only mark a goal complete, if it's still in an 'Active' status which is indicated by a green circle.
By marking your goal as complete, it will send a notification to your leader to review and approve your goal and this will reflect in a status of "Pending Approval" (with an amber circle) on both yours and your leader's dashboard. Once they confirm the goal is completed your leader will move to a status of 'Complete' and the goal will then disappear from yours and your leader's dashboard and sit within the 'Goals' History.
