This article provides an overview of what a Goal Completion rate report is and how to run one.
What is a Goal Completion Rate Report?
There are two versions of the Goal Completion Rate Report available; 'Chart' or 'Table' available for selection in the 'Display as' toggle. The Chart displays a break down of how the number of goals that were completed vs how many goals were incomplete, it also provides viability of what 'Area of Focus' the selected subjects have been working on over the selected date range.
The 'table' layout provides you with a list of every team member in the subject selection and how many goals they have in each status.
How to Run a Goal Completion Rate Report
- Click on 'Reports' from the main menu.
- You will be presented with a series of options for reporting.
Under 'Report Type' select 'Goal Completion Rate'
- Subjects: Here you can select if you would like to run the report for:
- Team Leaders: Displays a view of goals completed by Team leaders
- Teams': Report on individual teams that report into you
- 'Teams & Children: Report on any teams reporting into you and their teams
- 'Individuals': Report on individuals that report into you.
- Date Range: Select the date range you would like to run the report for. Ensure the date begins from a Monday to show the most accurate data
- Date Range: Select the date range you would like to run the report for.
- Click on 'Run Now'.
How to interpret Goal Completion Rate Report
'Chart' View
- The chart view provides you three sets of data
- Goal completion % of all goals Complete vs Incomplete
- What 'Area of Focus' the goals are set around
- Rolling goal Completion graph indication completion rates over a rolling period. This is particularly helpful to determine if users goal completion is improving over time.
'Table' View
- The table view shows the number of goals currently in each status for each team member (in the selected subjects) and their overall goal completion rate for the selected date period.
- This report helps identify which team members have a high number of outstanding goals, the total of goals each team member has been working on and their goal completion rate.
