How do I delete a team?

Use this article when a team is no longer needed because of organisational changes. Only an Administrator or an authorised senior leader with the correct permissions should delete a team.


Important: Deleting a team removes it from the Teams page and as a selectable Subject when running reports.

Step 1: Go to the Teams page

  1. From the YakTrak main menu, click Teams.
  2. Use the search bar if needed to find the team you want to remove.

Step 2: Open the team you want to delete

  1. In the Teams list, click the team name you want to delete.
  2. This opens the team details screen.

Step 3: Delete (archive) the team

  1. Next to the team name, click the  icon (the symbol to the left of the team name).
  2. Select Delete 
  3. When prompted, confirm by clicking Yes, archive it.


Once confirmed, the team will be removed from YakTrak and will no longer appear in team lists or reporting subject filters.
