Can I transcribe and summarise a coaching session?

This article provides information on how to use the Transcribe & Summarise feature for YakTrak coaching sessions.

Coaching team members has never been easier. YakTrak now allows you to upload an existing transcript to summarise or, start from scratch by transcribing and summarising directly into YakTrak.

To get started, create a coaching session. 

  • Select 'Start Session'


  • Select Start Recording

  • Be sure to read the 'Session recording consent' and let the other parties attending the session know that it will be transcribed and summarised. Review the Privacy Policy if required.
  • Select 'Confirm & Continue' to confirm your agreement to the transcription and summarisation.
  • The recording will commence after a five second count down.
  • To end the recording simply select 'End Recording' and confirm that you are ready to generate the summary.

  • Once selected, your transcription will be summarised and added to the coaching session.
  • You can edit the summary if desired by selecting the 'Edit' button. 
  • Once you are happy with the summary, select 'Finish & Save to Form'

Download your Transcript: You can download your transcript at any time by selecting the ellipses in the Summary header.
